With Faradite motion sensors being the go to PIR for so many of their customers, those clever people at Future Automation decided to create an accessory to simplify the termination of our dry contact motion sensors.
Behold the Future Automation AP-DIN-IO:
It is often said that the best solutions are the simplest solutions, the AP-DIN-IO provides a landing panel for up to 5 of our Motion Sensor 360 - Volt Free PIRs. On the plate you will find DC voltage input terminals that provide power to each of the connected sensors. There are 5 sensor input connectors that have the exact terminals that you will find on the back of our sensors making termination simple and tidy.
Lastly, the header connector provides a perfectly positioned terminal block with the necessary connections for the Lutron QSE-IO device, which mounts on the AP-DIN-IO unit. DIN mount clips on the landing board make mounting the AP-DIN-IO on the DIN rail simple and solid.
The overall result is a neat, well terminated and easily maintained installation.
